I paint out-of-doors and participate in tri-state juried outdoor art shows in CT, MA, and NY. Subject matter includes landscapes, seascapes including boats and lakes, still life studies and farmscapes all painted on location. In 2002 I married John J. Perotti co-owner of Lone Pine Farm, Millerton, NY a family operated dairy farm since 1913. A breeder of the finest registered Holsteins in the US, John's inspiration and hard work has motivated me to paint farmscapes realizing the genre is rapidly changing and many local farms especially dairy are disappearing. Local Millbrook, NY has inspired me to paint equestrian studies as there are many working horse farms located here. Each painting sold including its prints and cards has a description and story of where and when painting was done. The farmscape has since been sold due to huge debt. We now live in CT at my house and I am in the process of painting new studies. Please bear with the interruption. I have some great cards with horses that will be shown at my 2016 upcoming art shows.

I intend to do Saratoga, Sharon, CT, etc. Thank you.  Joan
